BoozeBruvas is a mobile bartending and beverage consulting company founded by Oscar Andino and Lance Smith, two bartenders who, like everyone else during the pandemic, were forced to make a pivot, finding unique and profitable ways to showcase their talents. Today, BoozeBruvas is thriving in the local hospitality industry creating beverage programs and menus as well as unique cocktail experiences and products. Additionally, BoozeBruvas specializes in private event and wedding staffing, home bar building, cocktail catering and more!
Meet Lance
Lance Smith, a co-founder of BoozeBruvas LLC, is an experienced bar manager, General Manager, and Beverage Director, who has worked in DC for over 15 years. With a proven track record of leadership and excellence in the hospitality industry Lance brings his culinary expertise and passion for gastronomy to each cocktail he creates. Lance’s real-life education and training have stemmed directly from some of the city’s best chefs, bartenders, servers, barbacks, and some of the best talents in local industry. A combined 20 years of experience, never settling, and always striving for perfection makes Lance—or at least his libations—as close to perfect as one could get.
Meet Oscar
Oscar Andino, a seasoned veteran with 20 years of experience in the bar industry, combines his business acumen and hospitality background as one of the co-founders of BoozeBruvas LLC. His journey in the hospitality sector began as a barback at a popular pizza joint in Salt Lake City, where he received invaluable on-the-job training from some of the city's most skilled bartenders. Hailing from Langley Park, MD, Oscar returned to the DMV in 2011 and further developed his expertise at a local brew house in Shaw. He subsequently gained experience at reputable establishments to fuel his passion for hospitality, including Chesapeake Room, Senarts Oyster & Chophouse, and Lola's. There he refined his bar skills, cultivated and expanded his professional relationships. Additionally, Oscar played a pivotal role in the opening and expansion of the new Marriott Marquis in Mt. Vernon Square. He currently serves as an integral member of the bar team at Bar Chinois in Mt. Vernon Triangle.
